Relationships Are Challenging.
You Don't Have to Figure Them Out Alone.

Let's face it: relationships are one of the most meaningful and challenging parts of life.  Most of us were never taught how to navigate disagreements, stay connected when life gets busy, or work through the challenges that every couple faces. The good news? There are proven skills that can help us do all those things and build the kind of relationship we want. We just don't always know what those skills are or how to put them into practice.

Helping couples discover those skills has been a passion of mine for more than 25 years. My wife, Beth, and I have spent much of that time offering mentoring, workshops, conferences, and events to help couples learn practical ways to connect, navigate challenges, and build lasting, fulfilling relationships. In 2022, I decided to turn that passion into my profession. I left corporate America to pursue a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and bring my vision to life through Happy Twogether.

Today, I have the privilege of walking alongside couples as they discover new ways to understand one another, work through challenges, and create a relationship that feels right for them. My approach combines decades of experience in relationship enrichment with my training as a marriage and family therapist and the research-based work of Drs. John and Julie Gottman. As a Gottman Level 3 trained professional, I have pursued advanced training in the Gottman Method, which offers practical, research-informed tools for helping couples strengthen their relationships.

Here's something I believe: Every couple is unique, and even knowing what to do doesn't always make it easy to do! That's where I come in. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, I work with you to understand what matters most to you, identify what's getting in the way, and find practical ways to move forward. We'll build on what's already working, learn new skills where they're needed, and work together toward the relationship you want. You don't have to have everything figured out before we begin.

A little about me: I love live music, mountain biking, Austin, and helping couples discover just how much better their relationships can be. Before making relationships my full-time focus, I spent my career in the semiconductor industry, leading cross-functional enterprise software development teams. The leadership philosophies of Stephen Covey and Brené Brown continue to shape how I approach my work. Whether at home or at work, I believe healthy, authentic relationships—built on mutual respect, trust, and appreciation—help us thrive as individuals, couples, families, and teams.

Wondering if we'd be a good fit? You don't have to be in crisis to reach out. Maybe you're working through a difficult season, having the same argument for what feels like the hundredth time, or simply hoping to make a good relationship even better. Whatever brings you here, I'd love to hear your story and learn a little about what you're hoping for.

Let's start with a conversation. We can talk about what's going well, what's been challenging, and what you'd like your relationship to look like. You can ask me questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide whether it feels like a good fit—no pressure or expectations. Schedule a free consultation, and let's explore what's possible for your relationship.
